Coins & Bills — Privacy Policy

Coins & Bills (coinsandbills.net) is a free banknote collection tracker operated by Mike Hatkevich. This policy explains what data it stores, who sees it, and how to delete it.

What we collect

Google account info. If you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication gives us your account ID, email address, display name, and profile photo URL. Sign-in is optional. You can browse the read-only demo without it.
Your collection. The notes you mark as owned or wanted, the details you enter about them (such as grade, notes, and dates), and any problem reports you file. This is stored under your account ID.
Your photos. Photos of banknotes that you choose to upload, stored in Firebase Storage under your account ID.
Leaderboard entries. If you submit a game score, we store the player name you typed (up to 24 characters), your score, and the time. The leaderboard is public.
On your device. Your theme, music choice, and last game player name are kept in your browser's local storage. The app sets no cookies of its own.
Technical data sent automatically to Google's Firebase platform, such as your IP address when the app connects.

We do not run ads, advertising trackers, or analytics, and we do not collect your phone number, contacts, or precise location.

Who can see your data

Your collection, photos, and reports are readable and writable only by your signed-in account, with one exception: the read-only demo shows a copy of the owner's own collection to every visitor.
Leaderboard names and scores are visible to everyone.
We can see stored data through the Firebase console.

Who we share with

Google Firebase — our backend (Authentication, Realtime Database, Storage, Hosting). See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — the app loads its fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
flagcdn.com — the app loads present-day country flag images from this service, which receives your IP address.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account, your collection, and your photos, email admin@coinsandbills.net from the address on your Google account. We process requests within 30 days. Leaderboard entries contain only the name you typed; tell us the name and we will remove them. Firebase may keep backups for a limited time after deletion.

Children

Coins & Bills is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email us to access, correct, export, or delete your data.

Changes to this policy

We will update the "Last updated" date above when we change this policy.
